Funeral services for Mrs. Amy Appleby were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, at the First Christian Church in Blair. Rev. Owen Wilmot and Rev. Scott Ross officiated with organist Donna Ball and vocalist Dorothy Wilmot. Burial was at the Blair Cemetery.

Amy was born March 26, 1897 in Irvington to George and Amanda (Elton) Jackson. On Feb. 14, 1917 in Irvington, she married Harley Appleby, who survives and resides at 2252 Jackson Street in Blair. Amy died Wednesday, March 20, at the age of 87.

Other survivors include daughters Mrs. Delbert (Pearl) Livermore and Mrs. Ralph (Elsie) Rafiner, both of Blair, son Byron of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, one son Floyd, three brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers were Don, Duane, Ronald and Gary Livermore, Randall Blomgren and Robert Hansen.
