SERVICES HELD FOR BERTHA STANGE

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 26, for Mrs. Bertha M. Stange, who was born in rural Arlington Jan. 11, 1895.

The daughter of Jacob and Margaret (Wrich) Rahlfs, she married John F. (Fred) Stange in Blair June 16, 1917. He preceded her in death Dec. 30, 1959.

Mrs. Stange went to school in Blair, lived in Omaha after her marriage, and moved to the Fremont Care Center seven years ago. She died Sunday, Sept. 23, at Dodge Community Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Stange, 89, was a 50-year pin holder of the Eastern Star of Omaha. Funeral arrangements were by Reckmeyer-Moser Home in Arlington. Services were at the Arlington Community Church, Rev. Dr. Gene W. Laramy officiated. Burial was at Blair Cemetery.

Survivors include Harry and Leonard Wulf of Arlington; Roy Rahlfs and Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Christiansen of Blair; Clifford Wulf of Millard; Mrs. Elmer Knudsen of St. Cloud, Minn.; Mrs. Charles (Elvina) Love of Sacramento, Calif., and seven nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Harry, Leonard, Clifford and Daryl Wulf, Roy Rahlfs, and Harold Christiansen.
