Services for Ida M. Smith held Monday

Funeral services for Ida M. Smith of Blair were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at the Campbell Funeral Home. Pastor Owen Wilmot officiated with organist and vocalist Clare Cowing. Burial followed at the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born June 5, 1887 in Toronto, Canada to Martin and Isabella (MacDonald) Badgerow. She died at the Blair Hospital at the age of 97 Saturday, Feb. 16. She was a resident of Good Shepherd Home.

A widow, Ida is survived by children Harry Beck, Alice Scheffler and Edna Kurh, all of Blair; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Pallbearers were Don Beck, Keith Kuhr, Kent Taylor, Rob Taylor, Floyd Vaughn and Steve Vaughn.
