Ramona Sobczak, 29

Funeral services for Ramona Lee Sobczak, 29, of Fremont will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont, with Rev. Charles Swanson officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Fremont.

Pallbearers were Robert Leroy Plugge, Steve Redding, Mike Cooper, Mark Stastny, Greg Chapman, and Jay Gabrukiewicz.

Ramona died March 11, 1988, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County, Fremont, from cancer.

Ramona Plugge was born July 30, 1958, in Omaha, and grew up and lived in Arlington until 1977, when she moved to Fremont.

She was a 1976 graduate of Arlington High School, and attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for one year.

On August 19, 1977, she married James M. Sobczak in Arlington.

Ramona worked at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in the radiology department.

Survivors include her husband James; two daughters, Crystal and Sherrie, both at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Plugge of Arlington; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Plugge of Arlington; two brothers: Michael Plugge of Arlington, and Shelby Miller of Fremont; four sisters, Mrs. Michael (Dawn) Willis of Richland Center, Wisconsin; Mrs. Michael (Shirley) Debro of San Antonio, Texas; Patricia Miller of Omaha and Judy Miller of Villa Nova, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela.

Moser Memorial Chapel of Fremont handled the arrangements.
