CARL SORENSEN SERVICES ON THURSDAY
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 13, at Campbell Funeral Home for Carl Andrew Sorensen, 78, who died October 11, 1983 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
The Rev. Thorvald Hansen will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Carl Andrew Sorensen was born March 7, 1905 in Omaha to Soren Peter Anton and Ida Burcham Sorensen. He had farmed, but was residing at Good Shepherd Home at the time of his death.
He is survived by one daughter, Lois Deertz, North Platte, Nebraska; two grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. Hugho Thornam, Blair and Mrs. Clara Peterson, Los Angeles, California; a nephew, Harold Thornam, Omaha; and niece, Mrs. Albert Suverkrubbe, Fort Calhoun.
Pallbearers are Albert Suverkrubbe, Harold Thornam, Ronald Thornam, Wayne Dien, Kenneth Burcham, and Vernon Mathiesen.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
