Fuenral services for Mrs. Eva L. Appleby, 92, 2144 d st., were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Robert Williams officiated.

Mrs. Appleby died Saturday in Arbor Manor. She was born Eva Hain September 2, 1886, in Blair.

She married Walter Appleby, April 14, 1912, and he died March 5, 1965.

Mrs. Appleby lived in Blair until 1941 when she moved to Fremont. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Busy Housewives Extension Club.

She had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Betty Bucher, for several years before moving into Arbor Manor just a few days before her death.

Surviving along with Mrs. Bucher are two sisters, Mrs. Emor (Mary) Fahrney, Battle Lake, Minn., and Edith Hain, Blair; two brothers, Howard Hain, Fremont, and George Hain, Ventura, Calif.; two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Fremont.
