CARL “CURLEY” SORENSEN, 81
Funeral services for Carl E. “Curley” Sorensen of Blair will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with Rev. J. David Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Curley died at the Crowell Home on Wednesday, August 16, 1989.
Carl E. Sorensen was born on May 5, 1908 at Blair, Nebraska to Jorgen and Anna Enger Sorensen. He attended school in Blair. On December 12, 1934, he married Leona Lautrup.
He worked for Union Local No. 83 as a boilermaker until his retirement in 1974. In June 1988 he moved to Crowell Home and resided there until his death.
He is survived by his two sons, Donald of Kennard, and Richard, Blair and daughter, Mrs. Roger (Mary) Reeh of Blair. Ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive him.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leona, in 1981,; by one brother, Fred; and one sister, Katherine Barber.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
