SERVICES HELD FOR CHRISTINA SORENSEN

Funeral services were held Monday, August 17, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard for Christina Sorensen, 89, who died August 14, 1981 at Blair’s Memorial Community Hospital.

Rev. Russell Satlzman conducted the services. Burial was in Kennard Cemetery.

Christina Sorensen was born September 30, 1891, in Washington County, Nebraska, to Nick and Cena Holm Cook. She married Hans C. Sorensen and was a homemaker in rural Kennard during her lifetime.

Her husband, Hans preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Grace) Golder, Uehling, Nebraska; and Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Logemann, Bennington; and two sons, Harry Sorensen, Omaha and Clark Sorensen, Kennard. Five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Cumberworth, Garden Grove, California, also survive her.
