CLARENCE A. SORENSEN, age 68

Clarence A. Sorensen, age 68, of rural Blair passed away Jan. 15, 1989 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Mr. Sorensen was born Jan. 8, 1921 in Omaha, NE to George E. and Olga Clausen Sorensen. In his earlier years he worked for his father in the dairy business. He later was engaged in the livestock business. He also worked for the Omaha Stockyards for 15 years. He was a member of the Blair Masonic Lodge and the First Lutheran Church.

On March 9, 1941, Clarence was united in marriage to Sofia Petersen in Bennington, NE. They lived in Omaha, NE until moving to rural Blair in 1968.

Surviving Clarence are his wife, Sofia of Blair; son and daughter-in-law Clay and Leah Sorensen of Blair; daughters and son-in-laws Kathy and Gen Severens of Rosalie, NE and Bev and Dan Hartman of Omaha; 5 grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Ray (Virginia) Wright of Blair and brother Leonard Sorensen of Omaha.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1989 at the First Lutheran Church in Blair with burial in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.
