MRS. SORENSEN DIED WEDNESDAY AT GOOD SHEPHERD

Mrs. Emma Sorensen, a resident of Washington County for almost 84 years died at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair Wednesday, September 19th.

She was born at Kennard October 1, 1889, and spent all of her life in Washington County. She was married to James P. Sorensen October 21, 1908 at Kennard and with her husband they engaged in farming. For many years they lived southeast of Blair in the Nelson Hill area. Mr. Sorensen died in 1951.

She is survived by a son Donald, of Lincoln and by a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Thompson of San Diego, California.

A sister, Mrs. Elvena Kempcke resides at Blair. There are two brothers, Elmer Andreasen of Blair and Arthur Andreasen of Lyons, Nebraska. There are five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church in Blair Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Robert Albers conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were John Andreasen, Neal Andreasen, Chet Andreasen, Clark Sorenen, Gordon Kempcke, and Clyde Fitch.
