RITES MONDAY FOR MRS. HARRY SORENSEN

Funeral services were held today (Monday) for Mrs. Harry Sorensen, 50 years of age, who died Thursday at the McBride Rest Home in Blair.

The services were held at the First Lutheran Church, the Rev. George Pallesen officiating with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Sorensen was born April 9, 1912 at Cedar Falls, Iowa. Prior to her marriage, October 5, 1935, she served as women’s physical education instructor at Dana College. She was a graduate of Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Sorensen is survived by her husband, Harry Sorensen; two daughters, Mrs. Dale Jensen (Charlotte) of Hunter, North Dakota; and Miss Ainette Sorensen of Blair; a son, Ronald Sorensen of Blair; three grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Madsen of Cedar Falls, Iowa; a sister, Miss Victoria Madsen of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Pallbearers were James F. Hansen, Edward B. Hansen, Martin Hansen, Aaron Hansen, Marius Hansen, and Jack McNichols.

The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
