FORMER BLAIR WOMAN DIED IN OMAHA THURSDAY
Mrs. Helen Sorensen, wife of the late Peter A. Sorensen, died Thursday morning in Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. She had been suffering from cancer for a number of months.
Mrs. Sorensen was the former Helen Svendgaard, sister of L. Woodrow Svendgaard of Blair and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Soren A. Svendgaard.
She was born at Kennard February 11, 1911 and grew to womanhood in the Kennard and Blair areas. She is survived by three sons, Peter A. of California; Dan of Omaha; and Lynn also of Omaha. There are seven grandchildren.
L. W. Svendgaard of Blair and Maynard Svendgaard of Seattle are brothers. Mrs. Emma Anderson of Otter Tail, Minn., is a sister.
Funeral services are being held this (Monday) afternoon at 1:00 P.M. at the John A. Gentleman Mortuary at 72nd and Western Avenue in Omaha. Burial will be made in an Omaha Cemetery.
