Mrs. Henry (Marie) Sorensen died July 29th at her home in Exeter, Missouri at the age of 74. She had been in an accident in Texas last April and had not fully recovered.

Marie Dahl was born March 5, 1897 at Staplehurst, Nebraska and married on July 10, 1920 to Henry Sorensen of Blair. They lived on a farm north of Blair until 1948. At this time they moved to Exeter, Missouri. They were the parents of two sons, Darrel who died in 1935 at the age of 12; Glen passed away in March 1971 at the age of 49.

She is survived by her husband Henry; a brother Chris Dahl of Staplehurst; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Sorensen of Blair and Mrs. Esther Hagan of Los Angeles, California. Also three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, August 1st at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Caseville, Missouri. Burial was in the Maple Wood Cemetery in Exeter, Missouri. The Williams Chapel in the Valley at Caseville was in charge of arrangements.
