Brian K. Fink, 48

Brian K. Fink, 48, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, in Lincoln.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 15050 W. Maple Rd., Omaha.

Brian K. Fink was born Aug. 3, 1966, in Sidney, to Keith and Kathy (Asch) Fink.

He graduated from Arlington High School.

After high school, he attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he graduated with a degree in construction management. He was employed with AAA Roofing in Lincoln since 1991.

Brian was always known as an excellent craftsman. When he was a child, he had a talent for building miniature furniture that looked as detailed as the antiques from which he based them.

As he grew older, his skills continued. He designed and built a technical marvel in his own home: a home theater that was entirely custom and state of the art. He was always very creative and adventurous when it came to new projects.

Brian is survived by his children: Ian and Ike Fink; and their mother, Jenny Tan of Lincoln; special friend Michelle Venter and her children of Lincoln; father and stepmother Keith and Mardell Fink of Blair; sisters: Romana Fink and Lynette Schleicher; stepsister Karen Felderman; sister-in-law Lorie Fink; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Fink; brothers: Steven, William and Bruce Fink; and stepbrother Roger Matzen.
