Lois L. Archer, 66, of Crescent, Iowa, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, at her home in Crescent.

Funeral services were held on Sept. 30, at Hennessey-Schumacher Chapel in Logan, Iowa. The Rev. Mark Heath officiated. Interment was at Valley View Cemetery in Persia, Iowa.

Lois L. Archer was born on Dec. 20, 1933, in Persia, to Earnest and Camella (Netsch) Wilson.

She married Fred Archer on Dec. 20, 1950, in Logan, Iowa.

Mrs. Archer worked at the Egg Drying Plant in Malvern, Iowa, Woolworth Dime Store, and Snoco Company in Omaha, and retired from G&G Manufacturing in Omaha.

She loved birds, rabbits, and all animals. She raised doves for the magician, Peter the Great, of Omaha.

Survivors include her husband, Fred of Crescent; daughters and sons-in-law, Jacquie and Dean Heinssen of Blair, Larraine and Keith Narmi of Berryville, Ark., three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Fred Basch of Council Bluffs, Iowa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Jean Wilson and LaVerne and Murlene Wilson, all of Persia.

Mrs. Archer was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, John.
