OLGA SORENSEN, 89

Funeral services for Olga Sorensen, 89 of Omaha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Benson Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Wayne Mesecher officiating.

Burial will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

She died February 7, 1988 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Olga was born November 13, 1898 in DeSoto to Samuel and Meta (Hansen) Clausen.

On August 20, 1919, she married George E. Sorensen in Nashville, Nebraska.

She is survived by daughter, Mrs. Ray (Virginia) Wright of Blair; two sons, Clarence of Blair and Leonard of Omaha; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.

She attended school at the Slader School. Olga resided in the Omaha area, where she and her husband operated a dairy until 1966.

She was a member of the Benson Immanuel Lutheran Church; OES Chapter 296 in Florence; Daughter of the Nile in Florence; Rainbow Circle; and member of the Altar Guild.

Pallbearers will be Craig Sorensen, Steve Wright, Clayton Sorensen, Harley Crouch, George Carter, and Jens Andersen.
