P. M. H. Sorensen was born in Denmark, February 6, 1818. Emigrated to America in 1870. Died at Kennard April 27, 1910, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. C. Jensen. The family consists of four daughters and three sons, living: Mrs. Jensen and Mrs. Knudsen of this place, being of the number, one son and daughter having died several years ago, and his wife passed away in Denmark in the year of 1868. He reached the ripe old age of 92 years, 2 months and 21 days, a pioneer of Washington county for forty years. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church last Thursday afternoon. Interment Prairie View Cemetery.

Peter M. H. Sorenson died April 27, 1910, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. C. Jensen, and was buried in the Prairie View cemetery on April 28. Mr. Sorenson was born in Denmark Feb. 6, 1818, and emigrated to America in 1870, his wife dying in Denmark in 1868. He has lived in Washington county forty years, and was loved by all who knew him. We extend sympathy to his daughters and sons in their bereavement.
