Blair Woman’s Sister Dies In Omaha

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, February 3, at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha for Eleanor L. Killebrew, 59, who died Sunday, January 30, 1983, at her home in Omaha. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.

Eleanor Killebrew was born August 11, 1923, in Fort Calhoun to Sylvester and Hattie Wiggins Wagers. She later lived in Blair until getting married. She was a packager for a food processing company in Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, about five years ago; one brother, Lyle Wagers, about two years ago; and her parents.

She is survived by one son, Larry Minor of Pleasant Hill, California; and one daughter, Eileen K. Echtinaw of Omaha. Eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Vivian Pavel of Omaha and Fern Jacobs of Blair; three step-children; a nephew, Bruce L, Jacobs, Denver, and a nephew and his wife, Roger Kent and Trudy Jacobs, and their three children, Gina, Brian and Jamie, all of Omaha, also survive her.
