A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 7 at the First Christian Church in Blair for Pearl Marie Johnson Kimbro who died July 27, 1991 in Tuscon, Arizona. A private burial will be held in the Blair Cemetery.

Pearl Marie Johnson Kimbro was born April 19, 1896 in Herman, Nebraska to William H. and Abigail Rosenbalm Hovendick.

She is survived by two daughters, Lavina Shelton of Tyler, Texas and Viola Marie “Toots” Morgan of Phoenix, Arizona; one foster daughter, Lynette Leka of Newton, Massachusetts; two sisters, Edyth Atwood of Blair and Edna Holstein of Kansas City, Kansas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
