Funeral services for Zeta Kimsey, age 88, of Blair, who died Saturday, October 13, 1990 at Memorial Community Hospital after a brief illness, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Clarinda, Iowa Cemetery.

Zeta M. Chizum was born on September 20, 1902 at Lewis, Iowa to Roy and Mae “Rowley” Chizum. She graduated from high school in 1921.

On March 23, 1922 she married Darrell Kimsey. He preceded her in death in April of 1970.

In 1930 she joined the Clarinda Order of the Eastern Star and served as their Worthy Matron in 1939. She moved to Blair in 1939 where she resided until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, J.R. Kimsey.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jeanne Kimsey, Blair; and three grandchildren, Claudia Johnson, Blair; Shelia Kellenberger, Lincoln, Nebraska and John R. Kimsey, Council Bluffs, Iowa. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one sister Cecile Gordon, Seattle, Washington.
