Mrs. Josephine T. Swihart, a long-time resident of Blair and Washingon County, died Saturday at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair where she lived. She was 87 years of age, having been born at Omaha on December 5, 1888.

Mrs. Swihart was the mother of Mrs. Grace Brewster , of Blair, who was her only child. A sister, Mrs. Bertha Policz, resides in Omaha.

Mrs. Swihart's husband had prededed her in death a number of years ago.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Christian Church in Blair. The Rev. Ray Phelps conducted the serice and Mrs. Mabel Lindenmeyer and Mrs. Phelps provided music for the service.

Burial was made in the Kennard cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Gerald Anderson, Jim Anderson, Jack Anderson, Bill Kamarasky, Clarence Miller and Elmer Dixon.

(Her death date was listed as May 10, 1976 on Kennard's cemetery website, and on the stone, but the newspaper publishing date is April 15. An error someplace. )
