ROSE SORENSEN, 88

Services for Rose Sorensen, 88 of Blair who died at Crowell Memorial Home March 9, 1993 will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 12, at First Lutheran Church with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Rose Kristine Sorensen was born May 20, 1904 at Staplehurst, Nebraska to Nels and Anna Lorenzen Dahl. She graduated from Staplehurst High School and after receiving her teaching certificate, taught in the rural schools at Staplehurst.

She married Carl G. Sorensen December 30, 1925 at Staplehurst. They moved to Blair in 1928 and farmed in the Blair area.

In 1990, she moved to Crowell Home where she lived until her death.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church and was a past member of the Royal Neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carl; three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Milton (Pete) and Kathryn Sorensen, Blair; Gene Sorensen, Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Rosalyn and Lyle Hansen, Omaha; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Esther Hagen, Los Angeles, California.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Hansen, Jon Hansen, Joel Hansen, Mitchell Sorensen, Lowell Sorensen, and Lindsey Stark.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
