Charles L. Clark Jr., 80, of Blair died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at First Baptist Church in Blair, Interment will be in the Orum Cemetery.

Charles Lewis Clark Jr. was born April 9, 1927, in Cedar Creek, Mo. to Charles and Sarah (Persinger) Clark Sr. He worked at Beechcraft fro five years as a machinist. He helped build the Blair Bridge in 1959, and then worked for Kelly Ryan as a machinist for 35 years before retiring in 2001.

He married Katherine Madsen April 7, 1961, at Orum Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Mr. Clark was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Blair. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, building birdhouses and putting together puzzles.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Jackie Clark of Alta Loma, Calif., and Brent and Kim Clark of Blair; five grandchildren; a brother, Walter Clark of Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Lela Loftis and Marian Madsen, both of Blair and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church or the donor’s choice.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
