ARTHUR W. CLAUSEN BURIED TUESDAY

Mr. Arthur W. Clausen of Ft. Calhoun died at this home on Sunday, October 19th. He had been confined to the Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, but returned to his home two and a half weeks ago.

He was born in Omaha to Mr. and Mrs. Sam Clausen on June 2, 1895. They moved to Ft. Calhoun when Arthur was a small boy.

On April 16, 1918 he was married to Mayme B. Sorensen of Omaha. They were the parents of three sons, Ralph E. Clausen of Arlington, Gordon D. Clausen of Ft. Calhoun, and Arthur W. Jr. who died in infancy.

Besides his wife and two sons he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Olga Sorensen of West Concord, Minnesota.

Mr. Clausen has been an outstanding stock raiser and successful farmer. He was a Past Master of the Ft. Calhoun Masonic Lodge and a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Calhoun.

Funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, October 21st. The Rev. Keith Sackett officiated and the Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Masonic services were held at the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Albert Ohrt, Paul Slader, Jim Knag, Olaf Kaer, Richard Wilson and Joe Stratbucker. Honorary pallbearers were: Walter Ohrt, Paul Kruger, Ernest Kruse and Bill Stratbucker.
