SERVICES FOR MRS. CLAUSEN WERE HELD MONDAY, JAN. 10

Mrs. Evelyn Clausen, who was the youngest of six children of Levi and Jane (Rhodus) Murphy, was born at Decatur, Nebraska, on May 19, 1909, and died at Blair, Nebraska, on January 8, 1972, at 62 years of age.

She was united in marriage to Falke Clausen on June 8, 1928, at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Two children were born to the couple. They lived in Oakland, Nebraska, until 1937 when they moved to Blair where they have since made their home. They lived at 1332 South Street. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Blair.

Survivors include her husband Falke, daughters, Mrs. Eunice Scheffler of Blair and Mrs. Sonya Walsh of Ames, Iowa; a brother, Hershel Murphy of Omaha; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Spanton of Blair, Mrs. Fred McGee of Blair and Mrs. Gladys Holbrook of Omaha; six grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 10th at the First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Charles Gates conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Floyd Hinz, George Carmichael, Ivan Larsen, Paul Spanton, Raymond Holbrook and Donald Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers were Frank Stewart and John G. Jensen.

MRS. FALKE CLAUSEN DIED SATURDAY

Mrs. Falke Clausen, well known Blair woman who loved at 1332 South Street, died Saturday morning. The Blair Rescue Squad was called when she was found dead in her house.

Cause of death and details were not determined as The Pilot-Tribune went to press Saturday noon. A complete obituary will appear in Thursday’s issue of The Enterprise.
