MRS. EDGAR CLAUSEN PASSED AWAY APR 2

Mrs. Edgar Clausen, nee Irene Jacobson, passed away Tuesday of this week of a lingering illness. Her death occurred at her home on east Colfax Street in Blair.

Deceased was born near Spiker on May 19, 1885, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hemming Jacobson. She received her early education at the Vacoma School where her father ran a general mercantile establishment.

In 1903 she married to Edgar Clausen. Five children besides the bereaved husband survive: Mrs. Steve Eggleston and Mrs. Ted Strong of Sonoma, California, Howard of Blair and Leroy and Leona at home. One sister, Mrs. Amanda Mattson of Bellingham, Washington, also survives.

All her life she has been a resident of this county. She was a good wife and mother and she will be greatly missed by her relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, from Campbellā€™s Mortuary with Rev. Aldridge officiating and interment will be made in the Blair Cemetery.

MRS. EDGAR CLAUSEN , 60, DIES; FUNERAL AT CAMPBELL'S TOMORROW

Ill several months, Mrs. Edgar Clausen, 60, died Tuesday at her home, 506 E. Colfax St.

Funeral services, it is announced, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Campbell Mortuary, the Rev. E. G. Aldridge, pastor of the Assembly of God church, officiating. Interment will be in Blair Cemetery.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heming Jacobson, Mrs. Clausen was born near Spiker May 19, 1885. She and Mr. Clausen were married in 1903, and to them five children were born.

Mrs. Clausen was a resident of Washington County all her life. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Surviving the Blair woman are her husband, Edgar; two sons, Howard and Leroy Clausen, both of Blair; three daughters, Mrs. Steve Eggleston and Mrs. Ted Strong, both of Sonoma, Calif., and Miss Leona Clausen of Blair; and one sister, Mrs. Amada Mattson of Bellingham, Washington.
