SERVICES FOR RALPH CLAUSEN ARE TUESDAY

Funeral services for 57 year old Ralph E. Clausen will be held at 1:30 on Tuesday April 22, at the Arlington Community Church. Mr. Clausen was found dead at his farm on Sunday afternoon, April 20th.

Rev. Gerald Senn will officiate with Reckmeyer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by the Hiram Lodge. The casket will not be open. Burial will be in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Clausen was a prominent farmer and livestock feeder. He was born on June 21, 1922 in Omaha. He farmed at Fort Calhoun until 1944. From 1944 to 1979 he lived on the farm southeast of Arlington. Ralph and his wife Mildred had moved to a home in Arlington within the past year.

On February 21, 1943, Ralph Clausen was married to Mildred Ohrt. His wife Mildred survives him along with two sons and two daughters, his mother, one brother and six grandchildren.

The surviving sons are Syd and Lonnie of Arlington; daughters are: Mrs. Charles (Linda) Morgan of Los Angeles; Mrs. Larry (Debra) Christensen of Burlington, Vermont; mother, Mrs. Mayme Clausen of Fremont and one brother; Gordon of Omaha.

Mr. Clausen was very active in community affairs. He was a member and past Treasurer of the Arlington Community Church, member of the Washington County Livestock Feeders Association; past member of the Arlington Board of Education, past member of the Washington County Fair Board; past Board member of the Washington County Extension Board; Past Worshipful Master of the Hiram Lodge 52 in Arlington; Past officer in the Order of Eastern Star.

Music will be provided by Dr. Jack Cady, Elaine Cady and Ruby House.
