Former Blair and Kennard area resident Gregory “Turtle” Claussen, 59, of Murrayville, Ill., died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Ill. Following cremation, memorial services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by wife, Pat Claussen of Jacksonville, Ill.

Buchanan and Cody Funeral home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.
