Seventy-nine year old Christine Swingholm died at the Blair Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 31. Services will be Thursday, January 3, at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church of Blair. Rev. John Petersen and Rev. Kurt Sortland will officiate with Campell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements at the Blair Cemetery.

Christine Swingholm was born at Wolbach, Nebraska on July 14, 1900. She was married to the late John Swingholm. She resided at 1104 So. Street, Blair. She had been employed at the Advance Cleaners in Blair for many years.

Mrs. Swingholm is survived by nine children, 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The children are: John Swingholm, Omaha; Dorothy Brooks, Columbia, Missouri; Kathryn Rhoades, Blair; Ruby Clements, Fair Oaks, California; Lola Hamke, Blair; Darlene Bohs, Blair; Mary Swingholm, Blair; Patsy Blinn, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Peggy Ray, Norfolk, Nebraska.

Pallbearers will be: John Andreasen, Brice Woodring, Stu Maurer, Wayne Steinbaugh, Etlar Olsen and Bill Hamke.
