JOHN SWINGHOLD BURIED AT BLAIR CEMETERY

Funeral services for 32 year old John B. Swingholm were held on Tuesday, May 15th, 1979. The service was at the Mary Our Queens Church, in Omaha, with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Swingholm died on Sunday, May 13th, at an Omaha hospital following injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Mr. Swingholm was owner of the "Custom West" motorcycle shop in Omaha.

He was the son of John and Milly Swingholm and was born at the Blair Hopsital on May 27th, 1947. He was married to Sharon Ann Mauch and they lived at 12112 Pederson Drive in Omaha. He is survived by his wife Sharon and a daughter Julie Marie.

Other survivors include sisters Julia Shiepe, of Omaha and Jackie Stewart of Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Other survivors include grandmother Mrs. John Swingholm of Blair; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Woodring of Pattonsburg, Missouri plus many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Pallbeareres were six friends.

An Honor Escort of about 100 motorcycles made the trip from Omaha to the Blair Cemetery. The bikes were ridden in tandem followed by the hearse.

The bike riders, all people who had known John or ridden with him, placed their motorcycle wing emblems on the casket at the cemetery. They then filled in the grave by hand.
