Funeral services were Tuesday, September 25 at Hadan-Golden Mortuary in Bennington for Roy G. Armstrong, 69 of Bennington. Rev. Barry Hanson officiated. Burial was in Flower Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by a special friend, Doris Quinnette; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Jack Ponce, Escondito, California; and Sandy and Marion Dishong, Bennington; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Dolly McDonnell, Las Vegas, Nevada; Pat and Cindy Armstrong, Omaha; Jeff and Kim Armstrong, Bennington; Greg Armstrong and Linda, Omaha; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Bill Parrish, Medford, Oregon; nieces, Ruth (Mrs. Ray) Kathman, St. Joseph, Missouri; Jeannie (Mrs. Joe) Quintero, Oakland, California; Joanne Barton of Elmo, Missouri; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
