William Russell Armstrong, 82, of Albuquerque, N.M. died Jan. 27, 1999, in Albuquerque, N.M.

The family will have a memorial on a future date.

William Russell Armstrong was born March 31, 1916, in Blair, to Lynn D. and Zatta Lee Armstrong.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Jean Armstrong; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Neal and Julie Armstrong of Tucson, Ariz.; Dale and Allyson Armstrong of Tucson, Ariz.; and Glen and Sherian Armstrong of Spokane, Wash.; and four grandchildren, Erin, Alix, Nathan and Lyndsey.

Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation.
