Services are 10 a.m. Thursday, February 8 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo for Frank L. Swoboda, 75, of Wahoo, who died February 5, 1990 at Saunders County Community Hospital in Wahoo. Rev. Lawrence Gyhra is officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Wahoo.
Frank L. Swoboda was born November 3, 1914 in rural Wahoo. He farmed southwest of Wahoo until 1976, when he retired and moved into Wahoo.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 2971 of Wahoo and Knights of Columbus, Wahoo Council No. 1833.
He married Hattie Jirovsky April 18, 1938 in Weston. She preceded him in death April 30, 1977.
He married Lillian Jirovsky Tomsicek April 21, 1978 in Wahoo. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Kathleen (Mrs. Dennis) Stuchlik of Wahoo and Sharon (Mrs. Michael) Robb of Nickerson; a brother, Willliam of Bruno; a sister, Mary Benal of Wahoo; and four grandchildren.
Svoboda Funeral home in Wahoo is in charge of arrangements.
