MRS. ERNA ALLEN DIED MONDAY

Mrs. Erna Allen died today (Monday) at her home in Blair.

The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

#2-Mrs. Erna Allen to Be Buried Saturday

Mrs. Erna Catherine Allen passed away on Monday, March 23rd, at her apartment at 207 South 16th.

She was born in Germany November 27, 1878 to Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Gutschow. They came to Nebraska in 1880.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Gillett (Lois Frances) of Western, Nebraska. Also two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Allen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blair and served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was also active in the Baptist Ladies Missionary Society and was pianist for the Primary Sunday School Department until her death. For many years she has been employed in a number of Blair department stores.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., March 28th. The Rev. Gilbert Reiland will officiate. The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Sappenfield, Robert McMillian, Ernest Tornblad, William Bisbee, David Warrick and Harold Taylor.
