ROBERT R. KING, SR., 74

Services for Robert R. King, Sr., 74 of Omaha who died November 2, 1994 of natural causes were Monday, November 7 at the John a Gentleman Westside Chapel in Omaha. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Robert R. King, Sr. was the former president of Construction Service Equipment Co., of Omaha, a subsidiary of Paxton-Mitchell Co. and Paxton-Mitchell’s Jebco Division in Blair.

He was a member of the National Association of Manufacturers and the Rotary Club.

A Nebraska native, he graduated from Central High School and from Iowa State University. He served as a captain in the Army and received two Bronze Stars for bravery in World War II.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bette.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Karen Mader of Hixson, Tennessee; Laurel Taggart of Reno, Nevada and Kristen Bauermeister of Valley, Nebraska; sons, Robert R., Jr. of Omaha and William Scribner of Chicago and eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Boy Scouts of America or the giver’s favorite charity.

John A. Gentleman Westside Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
