ROBERT SYLVIS, 68

Robert Sylvis, 68, died January 28, 1987, at Veteran's Hospital in Omaha.
Services were held at 11 a.m., January 31, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Steven Theiss officiated.
Betty Denison was organist, and burial was at the Blair Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Benson; Darrell Benson; Brett Benson; Jon Timperly; Jeff Hanson; and Lee Michael Thompson.
Sylvis was born November 6, 1918, in Fontanelle to Chas. A. and Mabel (Bracken) Sylvis. He was married for 33 years to Betty (Benson) Sylvis.
He was a veteran of World War II, and was a bus driver for the Blair school district.
He is survived by his wife Betty of Blair; sons Kevin of El Toro, California, and Keith of Arvada, Colorado, and daughters Lisa of Blair and Mrs. Bonnie Jo Olaff of Logan, Iowa, and by six grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
