MRS. SYNDOW DIED AT LYONS OCT 25

Mrs. Christine Sydow, a former Blair resident, died in Lincoln, Nebraska October 25. Prior to her death she had been making her home at Lyons, Nebraska.

Mrs. Sydow was born in Hundborg, Jutland, Denmark on May 25, 1897. She was, therefore, 70 years of age at her death.

The deceased was married to Harry Luce, of Blair on October 13, 1915. Three children were born of this union, Mrs. Ed Olson (Mildred), Mrs. Ray Mallette (Gladys) and Harry Luse Jr. all of Lyons. Mr. Luse died on Dec. 28, 1926.

On Jan. 24, 1929, she married Harvey Sydow of Blair. They were the parents of 4 children, Stanley of Nebraska City, Mrs. Francis Kirk (Donna) and Grant, of Omaha, and Val of Lyons. Mr. Sydow passed away Aug. 3, 1955.

The funeral for Mrs. Sydow was held at the Benforf Funeral Home Saturday with Rev. George Pallesen of First Lutheran Church officiating.

Two sisters and a brother also survive, Mrs. Callie Hansen and Mrs. Peter Hagge of Blair, and Niels Miller of Herman.
