Douglas R. Kinkead, Jr., 18, of Arlington, died Thursday, June 28, 2001, at the Fremont Area Medical Center.

Funeral services for him will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3 at the Arlington Community Church with the Rev, Lynn Martin officiating. Interment will be at the Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will continue Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington, and at the church, one hour prior to services.

Douglas R. Kinkead, Jr, was born Jan. 10, 1983, in Washington, Mo.

He grew up in Gerald, Mo., but for the last eight years, he lived in Arlington. As a youngster, he was a member of the Cub Scouts of America. He worked at the Pioneer Home Center in Owensville, Mo, and was employed at the Furst Group in Fremont.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Beth and Bruce Brown of Arlington, father and step-mother, Douglas Sr, and Tracie Kinkead of Gerald, Mo., a brother, Nathan Kinkead, and two sisters, Angela and Natasha Kinkead, all of Gerald, and his grandmothers, Mary Diggs of Rosebud, Mo., and Marjorie Kinkead of Gerald.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
