Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. J. F. Kinney on Sunday, February 25th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Kinney, in Ft. Collins, Colo., where she went for a visit and was taken ill and died within a few days. The funeral was held on Tuesday following. Hattie L. Willsey was born in North Adams, Mass., on September 11th, 1866, so was just past 56 years of age. She came to Blair with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Willsey, who were residents of this city for many years, when a child and grew to womanhood here. She was married to J. Frank Kinney and their only child, Russell J. was born here. They removed to Lincoln, which had been their home until a short time ago, when they moved to Ft. Collins, where Mr. Kinney’s brother lived. Besides her husband and son she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Dennis, of Omaha, and Stella, Mrs. J. B. Shrock, of Scottsblugg, Neb. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of many old friends in Blair and vicinity.
