Funeral services for Louise Kirk, age 102 of Crowell Home who died at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair July 15, 1990 will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18 at the Springview United Methodist Church in Springview, Nebraska. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Springview.

Louise Goersch, the daughter of Martin and Catherine Jurezwsky Goersch, was born on May 24, 1888 at Scotland, South Dakota. The family moved to Naper, Nebraska when Louise was a small child. In April, 1903, she came to Springview where she resided until November of 1983.

On March 25, 1914 she married Scott Kirk, near Springview, Nebraska. They celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary in March, 1982.

In February of 1984 she moved to Crowell Memorial Home to be near her daughter.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband on July 24, 1982, her parents, three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ida and Bill Heim of Persia, Iowa; four grandsons (and their wives) Larry, Kearney, Nebraska; Ronald and Lina Heim, Chandler, Arizona; Keith and Debi Heim, Harlan, Iowa, and Roger and Kim Heim, Indianola, Iowa; five great-grandchildren and one sister, Anna Eisenbraun of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
