Roy Kirkpatrick, Former Blairite, Died Sunday

A former Blair resident, Roy T, Kirkpatrick, 68 years of age, of Lincoln, died Sunday in a Lincoln hospital.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Umberger Mortuary at 48th and Vine Streets in Lincoln.

Roy Kirkpatrick and family moved to Blair in 1938. He was employed at the Soil Conservation Office in Blair for 21 years, retiring in 1959 due to ill health.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma; 2 sons, Arthur Roy, Virginia, and Donald of Lincln; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Stringer (Margaret) of Denver, Colo.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blair.
