LOIS SPANTON

Lois Marie Roper Spanton was born March 31, 1902 to Ida Bell and William Rogers. She died June 21, 1986 at the Tekamah Nursing Center where she had been a resident nearly three years. She was 84 years old.

She was united in marriage to Dwane Spanton in 1940 at Rupert, Idaho. She is survived by her husband, Dwane; one son, Bill (Dick) Blair of Grand Island; two step-children, Idamay Novzorsky of Central City and Howard Spanton of Omaha; fourteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Spanton was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Tom Gerald Dobberstine; one sister, Sara; and one brother, Charles.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 2 at 10 at the Blair Cemetery, with Reverend Marion Knoell in charge.
