MOTHER OF BLAIR WOMAN DIED AT WALKER, MINN.

Mrs. Maxine Spanton, mother of Mrs. Dave Svendgaard of Blair, died last Wednesday evening at her home at Walker, Minnesota. She was a native of the state of Washington and was 66 years of age.

Mrs. Spanton lived at Blair from 1955 until about 1962, then moving to Minnesota to make her home. She was the wife of the late Morrice (Mouse) Spanton.

She is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Smith of Rollins, Wyoming; Julie Spanton of Minneapolis; and Rosemary Svendgaard of Blair. There are also 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Spanton had lived in Blair during the winters but had always returned to her home at Walker, Minnesota during the summer weather.

Funeral services will be held at Walker today (Monday, October 30th).
