Else Solevad Dies At Age74

Else Povelsen Solevad died at the age of 74 in the Blair Community Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 24. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Rev. John Petersen will officiate with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements and burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Solevad was born on July 21, 1905 in Denmark. She was married to Einer Solevad, who survives her. The couple listed their residence as 117 College Rd., in Watsonville, California.

Surviving, besides her husband, are: children: Mrs. John (Elizabeth ) Nielsen, Blair; Mrs. Ruth Petersen, Santa Cruz, California; David Solevad, Pioneer, California; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Brothers and sisters are: Holger Povelsen, France: Paul Povelsen, Denmark; Algot Povelsen, Denmark; Egil Povelsen, Santa Rosa, California; Ruth Skjoldader, Denmark; and Inter Buchter, Denmark.
