Anders Sorensen Buried Thursday

Anders (Andrew) Christian Sorensen passed away at his home at 753 No. 16th St. in Blair on March 26th. He was born in Denmark on November 24, 1881 and was 80 years old at the time of his death.

Mr. Sorensen came to the United States in 1900 and lived in New Jersey and South Dakota before coming to Nebraska where he farmed until his retirement in 1951, when he moved to Blair.

His wife, Mary Sorensen, and a sister, Mrs. Chris Larsen (Jensine), of Omaha, survive him.

Funeral services were held March 29th (today) at 2:00 P.M. at the Bendorf Funeral Home. The Rev. George Pallesen officiated. The Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Burial was made in the West Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Pallbearers were Carl Juul, Thorvald Jorgensen, Victor Wehrbein, Jim Knag and Herbert Gottsch.
