SERVICES HELD FOR ELMER SPRINGER

Funeral services for Elmer L. Springer, 62, 1510 E. Sixth St., Fremont, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bader-Rozanek-Lawson Colonial Funeral Home. The Rev. Merle Zook officiated.

Springer died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon.

The son of George and Emma (Struve) Springer, he was born December 17, 1917 in Hooper. He was employed by Fisca Oil Co., Fremont, and formerly was a farmer and Hooper Elevator employee.

Springer had lived in Fremont since 1976. He was a member of First United Methodist Church; Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge No. 200; and the Hooper American Legion Post No. 18. He served with the U.S. Army in WWII.

He married Elmae Peterson Bokowski on November 14, 1954 in Fremont. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Don Delray Bokowski, Lincoln; and Terry L. Bokowski, Fremont; four grandsons; a sister, Mrs. Emil (Ruth) Schulenberg, Scribner; an aunt, Mrs. Martha Taylor, Blair; cousins and nephews.
