DAUGHTER OF FORMER PASTOR KILLED FRIDAY

Linda Springer, 20 year old daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Donald Springer of Ajo, Arizona was fatally injured in an automobile accident near Indio, California last Friday, June 21st.

Linda and three friends were on their way to Redland, California to be with her parents who were attending an annual conference of the Methodist Church. It has been reported that a pickup truck pulled out into the path of the car Linda was in, and the accident was unavoidable.

Miss Springer lived in Blair and attended the Blair City Schools during 1958 to 1961 while her father was pastor in the Blair Methodist Church. She graduated from the Ajo, Arizona High School and had just completed her sophomore year at Northern Arizona State University at Flagstaff, Arizona this spring.

Funeral services were held at Tucson, Arizona on Monday, June 24th. She is survived by her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Betty) Kirk of Flagstaff, Arizona and Lynn, still at home with her parents.
