RICHARD SPRINGER, 53
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29 at Country Bible Church for Richard Springer, 53, who died at his residence on May 24, 1990. Rev. Dan Hauge is officiating.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha.
Richard A. Springer was born on July 19, 1936 at Sidney, Iowa to Bernard and Edna Fern Henry Springer. He graduated from Silver City, Iowa, High School in 1954.
On November 2, 1958, he married Marilyn Martin at Shenandoah, Iowa. They lived in Shenandoah until moving to Omaha in 1959 and then to Blair in 1974.
He was a member of Carpenter’s Union Local No. 400 for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Fern Carl.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; four daughters, Sheila Luntz, Omaha; Shelly Wofford, Aurora, Nebraska; Sandy Tierney and Stacy Springer, both of Omaha; sons-in-law, Steve Tierney and Bill Wofford; five grandchildren, Courtney Small, Kylie, Katie, Levi and Kendal Wofford; his father, Bernard Springer of Dunlap, Iowa; and one brother, James of Blair.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
