SERVICES HELD IN HERMAN FOR LLOYD STAPLES

Funeral services were held Friday, March 5, at the Herman Baptist Church for Lloyd F. Staples, who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair on March 3, 1982. Rev. Barbara Schenkel conducted the services.

Lloyd F. Staples was born December 13, 1916 at DeLamere, North Dakota. He was baptized in the Christian faith and lived on a farm in North Dakota with his parents until 1941 when he moved to Nebraska.

He married Evelyn Sheets in 1943. They lived in Herman where he operated his own trucking firm for nine years.

They then moved to Arkansas, returning to Herman in 1969 because of his illness. He lived in Herman until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Dennis of Fremont; Lloyd, Jr. of Herman; and one daughter, Juanita of Herman. One grandchild, Stacie; his father, Frank; one brother, Leslie; three sisters, Della Wosvick; Jessie Hanspeter; and Doris Wosvick; and one half-brother, Earl, also survive him.
