Klabunde Rites At Ft. Calhoun

Ernest R. Klabunde, 68, a one-time resident of the Ft. Calhoun vicinity is being buried from the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian church this afternoon.

Mr. Klabunde, at the time of his death lived at 3316 Fowler Avenue in Omaha. The family had farmed near Ft. Calhoun and he grew up in that vicinity.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie and by five sons, Raymond of Fremont; Arthur, Ernest and Edwin, of Omaha; and Lester of Long Beach, California. There are five surviving daughters; Mrs. Helen Petersen, of Bennington; Mrs. Betty Beardsley, of Anaheim, California; Mrs. Esther Bolte, Mrs. Meta Swanson and Mrs. Irene Lucas, all of Omaha.

Surviving brothers are John, Stewart, Minn; Alfred, Brounton, Minn. The sisters: Mrs. Elsie West, Brounton, Minn.; Mrs. Minnie Jensen and Mrs. Bertha Wiese of Hutchinson, Minn; Mrs. Maria Streich, Gibbon, Minn.; Mrs. Ella Schwartz, and Mrs. Edna Clapp, of Gary, Indiana; Mrs. Martha Lorsch of Blair and Mrs. Anna Munpifering, of Parkston, South Dakota.

The Rev. Norman Fowler, of Ft. Calhoun conducted the services and burial under the direction of the Sievers Mortuary was made in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.
